Flow State
I’m becoming increasingly fascinated with flowing lines. Hair, fabric, water, etc. Folding/sculpting these textures is relaxing and creative in all the best ways. This one was particularly enjoyable to fold, as I wasn’t quite sure how it would end up looking on the spectrum of hair to water, and I love to find out as I fold. I’m really happy with how it turned out, and I also liked leaving the top left as a pretty obvious right angle corner of a piece of paper. The human figure is heavily inspired by @gachepapier’s incredible works, especially where I use his characteristic triangular indentation that creates the torso, arm, and top of the legs.1 uncut square of Arches
